Agra Railway Division
North Central Railway is known as the Workhorse of Indian Railways, which spreads across three divisions via Allahabad, Jhansi and Agra. Agra railway division is easily tied to most of the major metropolises in India. The division came into being on 1 April 2003. It is cited for the town of Agra. Agra has a north-south broad gauge line intersecting an east-west broad gauge line. The crossing is around the 'Rui Ki Mandi area where the east west line passes below the North South line. Bhopal Shatabdi, which is the fastest train in India also operates across the Agra division.
