Ratlam Railway Division
Ratlam Division of Western Railway appeared on the fifteenth of August 1956, under Divisionalisation plan of Indian Railways. The initiation service was performed by Shri Thakatmal Jain, the then Chief Minister of Madhya Bharat State. The rail connection of Ratlam Division has a great history of over 130 years. The Meter gauge segment was begun the path in 1874 while the Broad Gauge appeared in 1893.It is a noteworthy intersection and a rail division of Indian Railways on a meter and wide gauge lines. Four noteworthy Railway tracks go through Ratlam City; these are towards Mumbai, Delhi, Ajmer, and Khandwa, amongst which the railway track along Khandwa is a Meter Gauge track.
