The train, introduced by Mallikarjun Kharge when he was Railway Minister, had no stops in Kalaburagi district. On Thursday, the South Central Railway announced that besides this train, the Tirupati-Sainagar Shirdi Express (17417 and 17418) and the Tata Nagar Yeshwantpur Express (18111 and 18112) would stop at Chittapur from October 4 and October 2, respectively.
The Yeshwantpur-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Express will also stop at Guntakal and Mantralayam from October 1. Similarly, the Jaipur-Yeshwantpur Express (82653 and 82654) will stop at Guntakal and Mantralayam from October 1.
According to the revised schedule, the Bengaluru-Hazrat Nizamuddin Express (22691 and 22692) will stop at Guntakal junction from October 1, while Mumbai-Nagercoil Express (16351 and 16352) will stop at Mantralayam, also from October 1.
The Rajkot-Coimbatore Express (16613 and 16614) will stop at Mantralayam station from October 1, while the Mysuru-Bagalkot Express (17037 and 17038) will stop at Mantralayam.
The Gorakhpur-Yeshwantpur Express (12591 and 12592) and the Mumbai CST-Trivandrum Express (16331 and 16332) will also stop at Mantralayam from October 1.
